Our new branch law office in Markle, Indiana is now open. It is located in downtown Markle at 134½ East Morse Street and is open every Monday and by appointment. Our other branch offices are located in Roanoke and Warren.

The firm’s branch office in Warren has a new location in Suite D of National City Bank, located at 201 North Wayne Street, in downtown Warren. The office is open every Wednesday and Friday and other times by appointment.

Lisa Garrott became a partner of the Firm on January 1, 2008.

Rick DeLaney has been elected President of the Huntington County YMCA Foundation Board. The YMCA Foundation manages assets of approximately $1.6 million. Rick has also been recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Parkview Huntington Hospital Foundation.

Mike Hartburg led the Huntington Paradox Management Group, facilitated by Kelly School of Business Senior Instructor, Mark Ippolito, at Bendix to discuss issues dealing with FMLA.  Due to the extremely technical nature of FMLA, ADA, and Workers Compensation issues, Mike and Lora O'Mara, of Source Benefit Risk Managers (a division of MarkleBank) provided expert insights into the area.  Mike has over ten years experience in the area of FMLA and employment law and has written several firms' employee handbooks.

  • A day and a half seminar covering major local government legal issues presented by and for municipal attorneys and experts in the fields of the practice including state and federal legislation, local government funding, governmental employee First Amendment rights, constitutional law, and drainage law.

Dennis McNeely - Elder Law Institute

  • Dennis attended the two-day Elder Law Institute which is annually co-sponsored by the Elder Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Senior Law project of Indiana Legal Services, Inc.  The seminar covered in detail a wealth of topics dealing with the special legal needs of older adults.

Matt Roth - Criminal and Civil Appellate Practice in Indiana
