Linda Hughes is a senior legal assistant employed by the Firm for over 28 years.  She assists the supervising attorney(s) in the administration of estates, trusts and guardianships.  Linda prepares fiduciary, partnership, gift, and individual income tax returns under the oversight of the supervising attorney(s).  She is also responsible for the Firm’s financial recordkeeping and management (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable).

Patti Chambers has been with the Firm for over 22 years.  As the family law legal assistant, she works with the supervising attorney(s) in the accumulation and organization of financial and valuation data, preparation of draft documentation, client contact and court scheduling to support our family law practice.

Janice Bir has been a legal assistant with the Firm for more than 17 years and has experience in several areas of our practice.  Currently she assists in complex commercial litigation, foreclosures, and bankruptcy defense litigation.  Janice provides us with word processing, coordinates our computer network and creditors’ rights practice, and administers the Firm’s trust account.

Lisa Urschel is a licensed title insurance agent and works as the Firm’s real estate legal assistant.  This area involves issuing title insurance, judgment and lien searches, title research, preparation of draft real estate documentation and insured real estate closings.  Lisa also serves as the Firm’s time and billing clerk.

Jody Hanson is a legal assistant in the Firm’s creditors rights area.  She assists in the collection of accounts for several municipalities (utility), financial institutions, as well as many local businesses.  Jody began her career with the Firm as the receptionist and continues to oversee the training for that position.

Christina Thompson  works as the corporate legal assistant.  Christina also provides word processing support and document preparation.  Christina oversees the Firm’s supply needs and purchases, and also serves as backup receptionist when needed.

Alisha Kindler is our newest staff member.  She began working with the Firm in December 2007 as the Firm’s receptionist.  Alisha is responsible for greeting new clients, answering the telephones, overseeing the Firm filing system, among many other tasks, and she provides support to attorneys and the Firm as needed.
